How to care for your primrose!

The primrose houseplant (Primula) is often found for sale in the late winter or early spring. The cheery flowers on primroses can do quite a bit to chase away winter’s dreariness, but they also leave many owners asking how to grow primrose indoors. Primrose indoor care is important if you would like these lovely plant to survive.

Indoors keep the primrose in a cooler spot away from the full sun. Only water it when it is dry. Do not fertilize while your primrose is in flower!! You can enjoy this plant indoors for several months. The primrose can be planted outdoors as soon as the chance of frost is gone. Plant it in a shady spot in the garden in well drained soil.
