At Westland Greenhouses our roots are strong. Over the last seventeen years the greenhouse has transformed from a small and unique garden centre to the largest destination garden centre on the shores of Lake Huron, Ontario.
In 2000 the VanAdrichem family immigrated to Canada from the Netherlands and purchased the Grand Bend property, which was originally the greenhouse Klein Westland. Paul and Anita VanAdrichem both growers’ children, knew the challenges they faced in starting a retail garden centre and wholesale business in Canada. Facing these challenges head on they opened the doors to their new facility on October 17, 2000.
Our focus has not changed. Our promise to you, our customer, is to provide unique and high quality products to improve your home and garden. Our friendly and knowledgeable staff inspires our valued customers from all over Southwestern Ontario time and time again. We pride ourselves on carrying unusual find items that cannot be found at the big box stores. Recently, we have even added a bunny petting zoo and a huge bird sanctuary! So make sure to bring the kids on your next visit.
We have learned and grown together over the past seventeen years and take this opportunity to thank all our loyal customers and welcome our new customers to Westland Greenhouses.
